In the course of offering English conversation lessons to many users, our company obtains and handles a great deal of personal information of our users, English teachers and staff members. Management of such personal information is a basis to ensure that users can use our services without worry. Since we are determined to handle personal information properly as being highly important and confidential, we hereby declare that we make it our social obligation to protect properly all of the personal information we use in our business, and that we establish a rule and system for fulfilling our obligations in the form of a "Personal Information Protection Management System" and thereby we promote our efforts to protect personal information.
In the course of our business of providing online English conversation lessons through the Internet, we will obtain personal information properly, deal with it within the predetermined utilization purposes, and not use it for any purpose other than such a purpose. We will not provide a third party with personal information of a person without the consent from the person. For ensuring this, we prepare a procedure for handling personal information and will educate our employees about the procedure.
In dealing with personal information, we confirm and observe the guidelines, ordinances and other norms stipulated by the government such as Personal Information Protection Act (Japanese Personal Information Protection Act) and its relevant guidelines, etc.
In order to ensure that personal information is handled safely and properly, we hereby organize a management system as the "Personal Information Protection Management System" and educate each employee to prevent loss, destruction, falsification, damage or divulging of personal information. For those who use online English services (users), it is possible to confirm or change one’s personal information in "Basic information" from "Configuration procedure" after logging in.
If user registration is done with an account of an external service, we receive the account information from the external services with a consent by the user. In this case, the user confirms and changes her/his personal information through the external service. She/he cannot do it in "Basic information" abovementioned.
When a user goes through procedure of discontinuance, her/his personal information is to be deleted within a month.

Request for a notice of utilization purposes or disclosure, etc., of personal information may be made only by the person himself/herself or by proxy.
Firstly, please inform our special Contact Point as below of your request for the disclosure of your personal information so that we can confirm your identity or the person acting as proxy for you (Likewise, when you request for a correction or addition to personal information, deletion, suspension of use or removal of personal information, or a change in the handling of personal information by cessation of provision to a third party, in order that we can specify the personal information subject to such request, you are asked to follow the procedure of requesting disclosure). We will send you a "Request for Disclosure of Personal Information" in our designated form.
After filling out the request form, please send it back to our special Contact Point together with an identity verification document as specified in the request form (If you use an official certification as an identity verification document, please black out the sections other than the sections showing your identification information such as name and address). If your Request for Disclosure of Personal Information is incomplete or your identity cannot be confirmed, we will inform you thereof. Although we will deal with your request promptly after we receive it, we appreciate your understanding that it may take several days for a response.
Regardless of how the request is made, we cannot respond to your request for disclosure, etc., of personal information in the following cases. If we decided that we will not make the disclosure, we will reply to you with a reason therefor.
Any information provided by a user to a teacher on a personal basis will not be protected or managed under this Declaration as such personal information is not collected by our company. Therefore, we assume no responsibility for any divulge or leak of such information.
Personal information includes name, gender, birthday, email address and other information that identifies an individual. It also includes information that can easily match with other information and can identify individuals as a result even in case that the information does not identify any individual by itself.
In the policy, personal information that the company collects includes information that users enter in registering in the website of the company (hereafter, the site) and provide the company with regard to other services.
Information that users provide at their own initiative to a tutor privately in or outside the lesson is not thought of as information that the company collects. (see article 9)
Users’ access history to the site (hereafter, users’ access history) is one of other information that the company collects. In the web server of the company, information such as IP address is recorded. The company uses the information to for observing abnormal access and for improving the services. Such information is never disclosed to the third person without an agreement by the user in advance.
The site uses a technology called Cookie for the purpose of controlling login status, but it does not include any data that identifies an individual.
Following is the purpose of the use of the personal information that the company collects.
The company requests an agreement of the user in case the company uses of necessity user’s personal information for the other purposes then those mentioned in the policy.
The company, with regard to handling of personal information, deeply apprehends the significance, institutes the policy based on the company’s Information Security Policy, and implements followings to assure the rights regarding users’ personal information.
However, Skype names are open information that is searchable on Skype software. They are also information opened to the company’s tutors for the purpose of offering lessons.
Skype names are not considered as personal information that the company protects and controls. The company requests users to take preventive measures for security by their won by registering a different Skype name from one they usually use, for instance.
The company, following the principle, never consigns, provides, or shares users’ personal information to any third party without an agreement from the user in advance. However, following cases are exceptions.
Users are responsible to the fact that contents of the personal information that they provide to the company are accurate and the most recent.
The company never changes users’ personal information without permission. In case that a user wishes to delete her/his personal information, the company requests her/him to contact the company following the prescribed procedure.
